ADVERTISING
RMSIR is designated as a Category C event under ISAF Advertising
Codes. Boats with advertising material incorporated shall include
details with their Entry Form. The Race Committee reserves the
right to forbid items of advertising which may conflict with
RMSIR sponsors, or in any way offend Malaysian laws or customs
by their nature. The Race Committee may, at its discretion,
charge an additional fee to boats carrying certain advertising.
Regatta sponsors may require the fixing of advertising material
to boats. |

INDENTIFICATION
All competing boats will be issued with a pair of hull stickers
incorporating the RMSIR logo and an identification number. These
shall be secured to each side of the fore part of the hull for
the duration of the Regatta. In addition, boats are encouraged
to assist race officials by displaying a sail number prominently
when racing. |

SECURITY
Whilst the Regatta Organisers will do their best to arrange
a safe environment for competing boats and crews, all entrants
are cautioned to secure valuables at all times during the Regatta.
Skippers are required to sign a Declaration upon registration,
absolving the RMSIR organisers of liability in the event of
loss. Access to official social functions will be restricted
to Regatta Officials, official guests and those who have paid
the crew fee or social fee, and are identified as such by wearing
a distinctive label issued by the RMSIR organisers. |

BERTHING
Pontoon berths will be made available by the respective Marinas
at Port Klang, Penang and Langkawi on a first come, first served
basis, subject to space available and boat dimensions. Other
competing boats may be allocated swinging moorings or be invited
to anchor at Port Klang. There is no marina at Pangkor, and
temporary anchoring arrangements are devised for RMSIR, with
complimentary water taxi services and security patrols provided.
The Entry Fee includes free mooring at Port Klang from 14th
November 2005, and at the other locations until 27th November
inclusive. Thereafter, boats are responsible for arranging their
own berths. |
