2nd RAJA MUDA SELANGOR INTERNATIONAL REGATTA 1991

The year 1991 welcomed former and new participants of the second Raja Muda International Regatta from 12 - 19 November.

Over the past year since the running of the first Regatta, the RSYC as well as the yachting scene in Malaysia in general, has seen many events encouraging to the growth of boating. As for the Regatta itself, two triangle races were added, as the lovely ocean-going yachts, which sailed around marked off Penang and Langkawi, in bright sunshine and strengthening winds.

Beside the success of the second Raja Muda International Regatta with a rising 51 yachts from 13 different countries, it also served as the lynchpin to Malaysian yachtsmen as the Regatta developed and supported watersports in Malaysia.
